He added: "Ako ang nag-umpisa nito. Ngayon, binubuhusan ko na ng tubig, para matapos na ang lahat."
St. Scholastica's president Sister Mary Thomas Prado expressed dismay with the "offensive" mention of the institution in his Pugad Baboy comic strip. Sister Prado earlier sent a letter to the Philippine Daily Inquirer regarding the Medina's comic strip, threatening to sue the daily unless an inquiry is launched.
Meanwhile, the newspaper has issued an apology to the Benedictine university and explained that the controversial comic strip had already been rejected for its insensitivity, but was published due to a "mix-up in the comics section."
The same statement added that while Medina remains a contributor for the publication, "Pugad Baboy" will not appear on its pages pending further investigation. Medina said he respects the decision of PDI, but expressed hope that will be able to resume being a contributor for the newspaper. - ABS-CBN news
