Julia Barretto, daughter of actress Marjorie Barretto, appears on her second solo magazine cover, beating several stars that have been in the industry for years. Barretto graces the June 2013 cover of Chalk Magazine, just two months after she was formally launched as a talent of ABS-CBN’s Star Magic. The fresh-faced cover girl is seen wearing a pink printed sleeveless top and a black and white skirt.
“A new month, a new cover girl. Julia Barretto graces the cover of our June back to school issue. Brand new sections and spankin’ hot content! Really, college has never looked this good!” Chalk Magazine said on its Facebook page.
Julia first appeared on the cover of Meg magazine’s May 2013 issue amid a controversy involving her feuding family members and her mother-Marjorie Barretto was recently involved in a photo scandal prior to the May elections.
Meanwhile, Julia is set to topbill a TV series for the first time in “Cofradia,” a remake of the 1953 film starring Gloria Romero.
