"I'm scared kasi pinagyabang niya na malakas siya kay President Aquino, malakas siya sa mga politicians," she said.
Guerrero's letter was not the first sexual harassment complaint against Ampeso.
In 1996, Ampeso was involved in a sexual harassment case over inappropriate remarks that he said to Evangeline Arroyo, daughter of former President Gloria Arroyo. He denied the charges but sent a formal apology through a letter and the case was dismissed in 1998.
For his part, Ampeso said that Guerrero is only taking advantage of the current investigation against him by adding her own complaint. He also revealed that Guerrero wanted to become an honorary consul in Canada.
"Sinabi ko na hindi kayo pwede ho kasi kulang kayo sa qualifications," he said.
He also claimed that it was Guerrero who was trying to get close to him. To prove his point, he showed several statements of community leaders in Canada who attested to his claim. One of the Pinoys alleged seeing Guerrero putting her arms around Ampeso during the same dance where she claimed that the consul general tried to kiss her. Another one said that it was Guerrero who attempted to get very close to the consul general. -ABS-CBN, GMA news
