Alfred Vargas big Lead in Congressional race in QC
Actor-turned politician Alfred Vargas, who is running under the Liberal Party, is winning the congressional race in the fifth district of Quezon City. Vargas who sworn as councilor of the second district of Quezon City in 2010, registered a big lead over Annie Rosa Susano of KKK.
Based on the latest data from the Commission on Election (Comelec) on Tuesday, Vargas earned 56,954 votes as of 10:35 a.m., with 81.90% of election returns processed, according to latest partial and unofficial results from the Comelec Transparency Server.
Susano on the other hand had 21, 837 votes. - report from ABS-CBN news
